Making a PlayStation 1, portable.
So I'm working on a project to turn "Ye olde Play-station" into something fun. Got Ben Heckendorn's book on console hacking, so that may help.
Thing is, I can't be bothered to fork over £35-£60 for the PSOne screen, and I found a Joytech Gamecube 5.4" screen.
Would it be possible to use this Gamecube screen (Or, any typical screen for that matter) as a monitor for my Playstation 1? Wouldn't it take just a few cable adapters and/or solders? Not worryin' 'bout soldering. De-soldering iron ish heplfull.
'Nother thing. What would be a good rechargeable set of battery(-ies?) to power the console and screen? Not quite sure what to do 'ere. Any tips? Kinda looking for cheap as pos. Battery life..Eh, at least 1 hour. 1-3 is what I want. Small as pos. as well
